Stock system is a Back Torque Limiter

replacement v ring from the clutch release cylinder is
2316305A00   CUP     (£3.60)

possible upgrades include

Heavy Duty springs (the 2000 clutch springs are heavier than the 99 springs, but an aftermarket set also available (£10 from TTS). 2000 springs are 4mm longer than 1999 ones. Check the clutch bolt support posts. some are not at correct torque...see HERE for more details.

Also...info is starting to come through on a pusher rod and inner basket mod that might eliminate the plate dryness seen from using the stock setup. It appears that the stock clutch needs the inner basket oiling holes enlarging...and no modification to the pusher rod. The size of these holes, and any other info is still in the development stage (go see www.suzukihayabusa.org for further info) but I will endeavour to bring the info here when it is known for definite.
